A New Encounter
We are encountering “a new thing” at the Valley, and it is our desire to share this encounter with you!
Our new name is now “Christwalk in the Valley!” The 60-acres of gorgeous mountain property we invite you to will literally renew your soul. While staying here with us, you will enjoy cozy accommodations, delicious meals and most of all the Holy Ground of God’s presence during your stay. And, while we always hear excellent reviews. . . further development is currently underway to make your stay even better.
A New Merger
The door has opened for the former Fellowship Valley to merge with Christwalk International Ministries, Inc. The beauty of bringing both ministries together will allow us to illustrate and show God’s greatness, power, truth and love. Excitement abounds as new buildings will soon be constructed, existing structures renovated and some of the untouched property slated for new expansion and development. The amazing part is these steps will bring God glory and allow us to understand how to walk like Christ. With a consistent base of volunteer support through Christwalk Ministries, you will enjoy the beautifully groomed property as you sit by the ponds and marvel at the many sites of nature regardless of the season.
A New Expansion
Improvements and additions will include expanding our lodging accommodations from 60 beds to 150 beds and building a new conference center, which will seat 300 people. While our Upper Room is great for small groups of 30, the future conference center will accommodate large groups and have break out rooms for meetings, meals and more. We are making the Valley perfect for all and any size groups (i.e. women, men, small groups, marriage retreats, seniors...)
Oh, did I mention our meals are AMAZING! We have on-site catering in our very own enlarged kitchen. And no matter where you live, the drive to our "valley" through the North Georgia mountains is beautiful and conveniently accessible.
A New Thing Springs Forth
What our two original founders, Bonnie Hanson and Alline Marshall, started in 1979 is now being expanded once again through God’s amazing grace. Nearly forty years later, the foundation of their vision is springing forth again with this gentle merger with Christwalk.
Tina Benoit will remain the Executive Director of the Valley, while Pastor Chip Woodall will be Lead Pastor and oversee all buildings and grounds. Jackie Ottmon will continue assisting Tina and assume additional responsibilities within the ministry of the Valley. Pastor Chip’s wife, Donna and their family will be support staff for the property and ministry as well. This is truly a family affair with hearts bent in the same direction.
Make reservations now to stay with us at Christwalk in the Valley. You will encounter a “new thing” with God and become a part of this legacy in the North Georgia Mountains.
** As of July 2019, Tina Benoit is no longer the Executive Director of Christwalk in the Valley.
